Vivian M. Hines

Vivian M. Hines, 100, of New Philadelphia passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born August 17, 1920 in Mineral City, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Lilly McCreery Fisher. Do to the early deaths of her parents, Vivian was raised by the late George and Anna McCreery. Vivian was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hines on May 18, 1991; brothers, Jack, Maurice and Robert Fisher; companion, Harold Gonter; and her beloved son in law, Terry Brick.

She retired from Barr Drug Store in Dover and was a member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary. Vivian loved gambling in Las Vegas and Wheeling and going to Auctions.

A loving mother and grandmother, Vivian is survived by her daughter, Paula Brick of New Philadelphia; grandsons, Derek (Christine) Brick, Heath (Rebekah) Brick; great grandchildren, Rachel, Hollis and Peyton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be in the East Avenue Cemetery, New Philadelphia. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.
