Virginia L. Dorsey, 92, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Born on October 18, 1933, in Zoarville, Ohio, Virginia was the daughter of the late Rolan and Dorothy (Hiltbrand) Feller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Dorsey, who passed on December 13, 2008, and her son, Kevin Stocker.
Virginia spent much of her life caring for others. She began her nursing career as a private duty nurse, later retiring from BF Goodrich in Cleveland and serving as a Plant Nurse at Terex in Hudson for over 25 years, touching countless lives with her kindness and expertise.
Virginia was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Stow and the Charles Faust Post 281 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Cuyahoga Falls. Her joys in life were simple yet profound: tending to her garden and admiring her flowers, preparing delicious meals for loved ones, watching birds flit about her yard, browsing craft shows, and cherishing every moment with her only grandson, Jacob. In her younger years, she delighted in dancing, bringing light and laughter wherever she went.
She leaves behind her children, Deborah Stocker of Stow, Wendall Stocker of New Hampshire, Kim Stocker of Tallmadge, Lester (Dina) Stocker of Washington, and Dave Stocker of Tallmadge; sister, Ellen Waggy of Seville; brother, Earl "Buzzy" Feller of Dover; and her grandson, Jacob Stocker.
Private graveside services will be held at Dover Burial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover.
Memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s name to St. Stephen Lutheran Church at 3725 Kent Rd., Stow, Ohio 44224.
