Tobin L. Smith

Tobin L. Smith, 56, of Strasburg died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 in Union Hospital at Dover.

He was a self employed painter.

Born March 25, 1959 in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Glenn and Evelyn Smith.

After graduating from Canton Timken High School, Tobin earned both a bachelors and masters degree from Kent State University.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians and Browns. He loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Bell of Strasburg and a brother, Tim Smith; a niece and nephew, Aaron (Debby) Bell and Jennifer (Shaun) Dillon and his canine companion, Molly (his German Shepherd).

Private services will be held at a later date in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.
