Thomas L. Beach

On Sunday, December twenty-second, Thomas Beach, age 64,  took his last breath at 4:20 in the morning, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 8, 1960. He was the son of the late Harry Vierheller and Lottie and Jack (Blackson) Beach. 

Thomas was a 1979 graduate of Dover High School and Buckeye JVS.  

His wife, Linda Beach, preceded him in death in 2013, and his grandson, Theodore Beach, in 2014.

 In his passing, he leaves behind his son, Thomas, and his grandchildren; Ella, Thomas, and Tressel, as well as his cookie jars.

He is also survived by his sister; Shirley Beach of Dover; brother, Jack (Brenda) Beach of Lima; his companion, Rita “Skeeter” Meeks of Strasburg; his nephews; Tim (Lindsey) Beach, Jeff Beach, and Sheldon Button;  and other family members and friends. 

He was a man of passion, creating items such as birdhouses and swings. He was an avid Browns fan and he loved Batman.  Above all, he enjoyed being a grandpa.  

 He never knew a stranger because once you met him, you were his friend. He loved being around people, especially the ones he loved. He would go to karaoke and dance like a fool. He enjoyed showing off his moves in  Just Dance as well, specifically the song “It’s Raining Men.”

 He enjoyed baking, as he held a blue ribbon for his chewy cherry rhubarb pie in the Tuscarawas County Fair. He also enjoyed collecting coins, making sausage, setting up trains at Christmas, and protecting the streets of Gotham. 

 As you hang up your cape and finally get to rest, please know that you are loved and missed.
