Susan Elaine Bell

Susan Elaine Bell, 58, of Dover has  passed away following a brief illness, at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover surrounded by her family.  

Born in Dover on September 14, 1965, she was the daughter of Andrew and Clara Jean "CJ" (Stein) Struhar.  She married Michael Bell, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2018 following 25 years of marriage.  She was also preceded in death by her father.  

Susan was a proud graduate of Dover High School, class of 1983. Throughout her life, she pursued various paths including working alongside her late husband, Michael, as a truck driver. In addition to this, she also found joy and fulfillment as the owner and operator of Inspirations Clothing and Resale in New Philadelphia.

In her leisure time, Susan found great happiness in her love for animals. She was an avid follower of Cleveland sports and shared memorable moments watching games with her son, Jeremy. Susan was a proud member of the Dover Moose #707.  

In addition to her mother, CJ, she leaves behind her children; Erin Bell of New Philadelphia, and Jeremy Bell of Cleveland; her brothers, Steven (Marla) Struhar of Dover,  and John (Jill) Struhar of Melbourne, Florida; her sister, Kathy (Ken) West of Dover; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.  

Cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.  A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dotty Hartzell officiating.
