Steven C. "Steve" Williams

Steven C. “Steve” Williams, 50, of Strasburg died suddenly on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born March 28, 1970 in Canton, he was a son of Vivian Saunders Williams of Canton and the late George Williams. Steve was also preceded in death by his step-father, Benny Williams.

He was a 1988 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and proudly served his country with the United States Army during Desert Storm. Steve was currently employed by the Iron Workers Local #550 in Canton. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Steve is survived by his wife, Sandy Airwyke Williams whom he married on May 18, 2006; son, Benjamin Williams of Columbus; step-son, Travis Miller of Strasburg; siblings, David Williams of Louisville, Nick (Kim) Williams of Dover, Mike (Erin) Williams of Avon Lake and Denice Williams of Canton.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg. There are no services or calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
