New Philadelphia

Stephanie A. Kyler, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 25, 2023. Stephanie's passing has left a void in the lives of her family and friends.

She was born on October 8, 1977 in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Dennis Scurto. Stephanie was close with her father and her grandmother, Nancy Scurto. As a young lady, Stephanie and her father lived in Florida and with her grandmother in Malvern. She attended school in New Philadelphia.

Stephanie was a dedicated employee of B.P.O.E. 510 in New Philadelphia, working as a bartender and manager. She was a beloved figure among members and guests.

Family was important to Stephanie. She shared a special bond with her husband Dave Kyler, whom she married on June 14, 1999. She was the proud mother of Addison and Emily, grandmother of Avery and Haiden, and the daughter-in-law of Teuila Kyler. Besides her father, Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy.

Though gone too soon, Stephanie's spirit will live on through the cherished memories she leaves behind.

Stephanie's life will be remembered and celebrated on Saturday, September 30, 5 - 9 p.m., in the New Philadelphia Elks, 1180 Union Ave. N.W. There will be a band and food.
