Stanley R. Medley

Stanley R. Medley, 83, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Park Village Health Care Center.

Born on May 5, 1943, in Stone Creek, he was the son of the late Raymond and Edith (Regula) Medley. Stanley retired from Greer Steel after 28 years of dedicated service.

A kind-hearted man, he found great joy in helping others, particularly assisting his son on the family farm. He was always looking for ways to lend a hand and make life easier for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Medley, on June 27, 2021. Stanley is survived by his son, Rick (Tina) Medley of Stone Creek; grandson, Ryan (Rahaf) Medley of Chicago; and great-granddaughter, Maya Medley.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory of Dover. Per Stanley’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Park Village Health Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful and exceptional care.
