Shirley Ann "Sam" Cairo

Shirley Ann “Sam” Cairo, age 80, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Altercare in Navarre, Ohio.

She was born on August 10, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Norris) Clark. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Briggs.

Shirley was a 1963 graduate of Dover High School. She had a big heart and a deep love for all animals.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Mauro of Columbus and Kim (Scott) Lebredo of Texas; her cherished grandchildren, Isabella Mauro, Anthony Mauro, Taylor Lebredo, and Jake Lebredo; and her brother, Donald (Sandy) Clark of Massillon.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 am with Pastor David Wing officiating.
