Shirley A. Patrick

Shirley A. Patrick, 83, of Millersburg passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Majora Lane Nursing Home.

Shirley was born in Massillon on February 4, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Agnes (Miller) Graber.

She was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Philadelphia and a member of the Dover Alliance Church. Shirley enjoyed baking wedding cakes and worked in the bakery at the Peppermill Restaurant. She loved flower arranging, ceramics, and volunteering her time at the Tuscarawas County YMCA for over 30 years.

She will be greatly missed by her husband; Howard Patrick, whom she married on January 9, 1958; her children; Gary (Melanie) Patrick of South Carolina, Sherry Edstrom of Danville, and Barry Patrick of Dover; her brother Jerry (Jan) Graber of Castalia, Ohio; along with three grandchildren; Jessica (Jason) Abel, Nathanael Edstrom, Shane Edstrom; and two great-grandchildren, Amy and Evie Abel.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Warren Edstrom.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes & Crematory in Dover on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bruce Sexton officiating. Burial will take place at Dover Burial Park.
