Sheryl L. Wallick

Sheryl L. Wallick, 78, of Strasburg passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Born on January 26, 1947 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Downing Wassem. Sheryl was also preceded in death by her sister, Patty Petite.

A proud graduate of New Philadelphia High School in 1965, Sheryl furthered her education at Malone University. For 44 years, she and her husband owned and operated Don R. Wallick Auctions. Their commitment to their business was evident, and they continued to serve their clients with the utmost professionalism until their retirement in 2020. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, always eagerly following their sporting events and school activities. Sheryl was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed visiting casinos across the United States. She had a passion for traveling and attending auction conventions, experiences that allowed her to connect with others who shared her interests.

Sheryl is survived by her husband of 56 years, Don R. Wallick whom she married on July 26, 1968; sons, Ryan (Anne) Wallick of New Philadelphia, Brennan (Brooke) Wallick of Stillwater; grandchildren, Teddy, Ellie and Charlie Wallick.

A time of fellowship and food will be held on Sunday, June 29th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Dover Masonic Lodge at 735 North Wooster Ave., Dover. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
