Sandra K. Espenschied

Sandra K. Espenschied, 62, of Dover, died Friday, Mar. 2, 2007, in Mercy Medical Center, Canton, from an apparent pulmonary embolism.

Born May 26, 1944, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Irene Baker Hostetler. Sandra was a homemaker who liked to sew, and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose and the V.F.W. Auxiliary, both of Dover.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle (husband, Jody) May of Dover; two sons, Dennis (wife, Kathy) Knecht of Magnolia, and Brian (wife, Barbara) Knecht of Dover; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Samantha, Kearstin and Kyler Knecht, and Michael, Michelle, Meghan and Marcus May; a great-granddaughter, Lydia Knecht; a sister, Harriet Hidey of Dover; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a son, Todd Dorsey; and by a sister, Delores Snyder.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, Mar. 5, 6 �" 8 p.m. Sandra�(TM)s funeral service will be held Tuesday, Mar. 6, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
