Ruth M. Vickers

Ruth M. Vickers, 94, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Born on March 14, 1927, in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Maus) Gregory.

Ruth graduated from New Philadelphia High School. She was a talented seamstress and worked for Midtown Drycleaners several years ago.

On January 31, 1946, she married Charles Vickers, who preceded her in death on December 14, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Frank and Richard (Melinda) Vickers, and her sister, Arlene Pease.

She will be sadly missed by her three sons; Kenneth (Mary) Vickers of Uhrichsville, Terry (Janice) Vickers of Huntsville, TX, Robert (Pat Lorenz) Vickers of Dover; her daughter-in-law, Stella Vickers; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her special niece, Vicky Gardner.
