Ruth Marie Gross, 86, of Dover passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024. She was surrounded by her family in the comforting environment of The Inn at Northwood Village in Dover.
Born in Strasburg on August 7, 1937, Ruth Marie Gross was the cherished daughter of Gilbert and Grace Duff.
She was a graduate of Strasburg High School. Ruth dedicated an impressive thirty years of her life to the Timken Company. Her work played a vital role in the company's growth and success during her tenure. She approached each day with passion and professionalism, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and peers.
Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband; Nelson Earl Everett; her son; Daniel Everett; great-granddaughter, Makayla Collom; her sisters, Wilma Felginhauer Verna Ricksucker, Cora Grant; her brothers, Donald Duff, and Charles Duff.
She leaves behind her husband, Richard Gross, whom she married on November 23, 1993; her children, David Everett; Diana Steele, and Debra Lehman; her beloved grandchildren, Shannon Collom, Dawn Steele, Joana Iversen, Paula Petrusik, and Kimberly Ganong; great-grandchildren, Joshua Collom, Diana Wiggins, Wayne Allbee, Temperance Collom, Edward Petrusik, and Duncan Ganong; along with her siblings, Howard Duff, Kenneth Duff, Carol Miller, and Ronald Duff; and many nieces and nephews.
