Ruth E. Stover, 80, of New Philadelphia and a former Dover resident died Wednesday, September 19, 2001 in her home after a two year battle with cancer.
She retired from Alsco in Sugarcreek in 1986 after 16 years of service.
Born July 22, 1921 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Charles ''Chuck'' and Ruth Schilling Martin.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Alsco's Retirees.
Ruth is survived by a daughter: Essie and Jose Perez of Medina
Son: David Stover of New Philadelphia
Two grandchildren: Corissa Perez
Joe Perez both of Medina
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 24, 2001 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 pm with Rosary services starting at 3:30.
