Robert D. "Uncle Bobby" Snellenberger

Robert D. “Uncle Bobby” Snellenberger, 75, of Strasburg passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Born on April 19, 1946 in Dover he was a son of the late Clyde and Esther Border Snellenberger. Bob was also preceded in death by his sister, Alice Smart and an infant brother and sister.

He retired in 2012 from Starlight Workshop after 56 years of dedicated service. Bob had a kind heart and a gentle spirit coupled with a love for anything John Deere. He leaves behind his sisters, Doris (Ed) Weaver of Strasburg, Betty (James) Turnbull of New Philadelphia, Martha (Jerry) Wade of Strasburg; many nieces and nephews, including, Michele (Ronald) Pollock and Jay Wade.

A service celebrating Bob’s life will be held on Monday, February 7th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Pastor Jason Rissler officiating. Interment will be at the Grandview Union Cemetery, Strasburg. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.
