Rebecca J. Carothers, 80, of Tuscarawas passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 in the Country Club Retirement Community at Dover.
She was born on May 22, 1945 in Dover and was a daughter of the late Chester and Jeanie Lenarz Truman. Rebecca was also preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Truman and son in law, Steve Salapack.
She is survived by her husband Ricky L. Carothers; children, Kristy Salapack of Massillon, DJ Avon of Tuscarawas; siblings, Kay Hoover of Dover, Chester (Polli) Truman of Louisville, Holly (Garry) Holmes of New Philadelphia; sister in law, Darla Truman of Dover and seven grandchildren.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
