Peter N. Nazaroff

Peter N. Nazaroff, age 96, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in Ohio’s Hospice Truman House.

Born September 2, 1929, in Brilliant, British Columbia, Canada, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Dora (Dootoff) Nazaroff. Peter attended school in British Columbia and was employed by the Indian Wells Country Club in Indian Wells, California. He later went to work for the Bermuda Dunes Country Club in Bermuda Dunes, California, from which he retired as maintenance supervisor.

Peter attended the Dover Alliance Church. He was a talented painter of pictures, something he took up later in life - at the age of 86. He also enjoyed going fishing and woodworking.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia (Daniels) Nazaroff, whom he married on January 21, 1972; his son, Mark (Nikki) Nazaroff of New Philadelphia; his brother, Jack (Ann) Nazaroff of British Columbia; and his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Peter was preceded in death by his sisters, Anne Negrave and Polly Cheveldave, and his brothers, Nick and Mike Nazaroff.

He will be cremated through the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, and his cremated remains placed privately in the columbaria at Dover Burial Park.
