Penny previously worked as a STNA at New Dawn Nursing Home in Dover where she was employed for 10 years. She truly enjoyed working there and loved the residents that she cared for, and her coworkers. Most notably she was known as an avid cake baker, baking and creating numerous wedding and birthday cakes throughout the years. She also loved tending to her flower garden each year and really treasured her huge elephant plants. She would always offer to provide an elephant plant starter from her flower garden to family, friends and even strangers. Her passion for a beautiful flower garden and yard, won several years of the Mineral City “Beautification” award.
