Pauline Elizabeth Benson Hinton, 93, of Dover, died Monday, March 14, 2005 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.
Born April 5, 1911, Pauline was the daughter of the late Raymond Leighton and Evalena Schug Hand.
She retired in 1965 from the former Riggle�(TM)s Poultry Market of Dover.
Pauline was a 1928 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. She had served as an officer in White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Order of Eastern Star on local and state levels. She belonged to the Grace Lutheran Church of Dover and most recently was a member of Dover�(TM)s First Moravian Church.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, William A. Benson, who died in 1978, and Guy Hinton who passed away in 1995.
Survivors include: her only son, Richard W. (Deirdre) Benson of Lake Forest, IL; two grandchildren, Jennifer Elizabeth Benson (Kevin) Riley of Lake Bluff, IL and David Fleming Benson of Chicago; and a great granddaughter, Jane Riley.
A funeral service celebrating Pauline�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, March 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Rev Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m.
