Paula A. (Denning) Lorenz, 65, of Canton and a former Dover resident died Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Aultman Hospital following an unexpected illness.
Paula had previously been employed at the Timken Company in Canton and Handy & Harman in Dover.
Born June 21, 1956 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Patricia (Parker) Denning.
Paula lived a life of a thousand stories and her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her. She was a true animal lover, especially border collies, and was heartbroken when she lost her Boomer. She was a devoted watcher of Big Brother, was an avid sports fan, especially watching NASCAR, and loved music.
She will be sadly missed by her family including her three children, Travis (Traci) Smith of Zoarville, Alanna (Eric) Watts of Bakersfield, California and Samuel Lorenz of Dover; grandchildren, Madison Campbell, Gabriella and Sophia Smith, Keith, Riley and Neela Watts, and Olivia and Estelle Lorenz; two sisters and a brother, Pamela (John) Levengood, Glenda (Randy) West and John (Lillian) Denning along with her canine companion, Kodi.
Graveside services will be held at Dover Burial Park on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2pm.
Because of Paula’s love of animals, her family asks that memorial contributions be made to any local animal shelter in her memory in lieu of flowers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
