Paula C. Myers

Pauline C. “Paula” Myers, 91, of Park Village and formerly of New Philadelphia (Brightwood) died Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 following a long period of declining health.

In addition to taking wonderful care of her family, Paula was previously employed at the former Diamond Shop and former Bond Shoe Store, both in New Philadelphia in her earlier years.

Born April 27, 1929 in Roswell, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Ruffini) Dallau. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl J. Myers who died Dec. 8, 1994 along with an infant son, David; two brothers, Abel (Helen) Dallau and Jack (Gloria) Dallau and two sisters, Nora (Edward) Lair and Matilda “Tillie” Dallau.

Paula was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia and was a member of the former St. Elizabeth Church in Roswell and St. Paul’s Church in Midvale. She enjoyed bowling and bowled in leagues over the years and also loved to play various card games including 500 and jass.

She will be missed by her family including her two sons, Michael (wife, Donna) Myers of Sherrodsville and Greg (wife, Valerie) Myers of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Angela Norman, Tricia (Brock) Sellards, Ryan (Erin) Myers and Cory (Nikki) Myers; eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Sean, Brody, Tatum, Liam, Noah, Reagan, and Morgan; along with a great great grandchild, Bentlee Andrew and several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, a private service for the family will be held at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with a private graveside service at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
