Paul James Neiger Jr.

Paul James Neiger Jr., 65, of New Philadelphia passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023.  

Born in Dover on March 24, 1958, he was the son of the late Paul James Sr. and Alta (Page) Neiger.  He was a 1976 graduate of New Philadelphia High School.  Paul was the owner of Industrial Finishers in Dover.  

Paul was a member of the Jerusalem Church in New Philadelphia and looked forward to spending time with his bible study group.  He also enjoyed golfing and traveling.  

He leaves behind his two daughters; Maggie (Tyler) Griffin of Columbus, and Katie (Ben) Shuler of Wilmington, North Carolina; his sisters, Susan (James) Parris of Wooster, and Connie (Charles) Wahl of Dover; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Parris, Jennifer (Jason) Parris, Josh (Yumiko) Wahl, Elizabeth (Mathias Labs) Wahl; his special friend, Cate Menapace; along with seven great nephews and one niece. 

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A memorial service will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ in Strasburg on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 3:00 pm.  Friends can call one hour prior to the service.  There will be a funeral reception following the service in the church social hall.  To sign an online guestbook for Paul, visit the obituary link on the funeral home’s website.
