Patricia J. "Pat" Kennedy

Patricia J. "Pat" Kennedy, 95, of Dover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.

Born on September 12, 1930, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, Pat was the daughter of the late John and Helen Hare Wise. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph High School and remained a lifelong, dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who cherished her family above all else. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, John "Gene" Kennedy, until his passing on January 1, 2005.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Eilein Liberatore, Mary Jane Wise, and Marguerite Ledger, and a step-granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kennedy of Dover; sons, Jack (Connie) Kennedy of Bellville and Bryan (Megan) Kennedy of Hudson; her sister, Jacqualynn (Vince) Sandy of Dover; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover.

The family will receive friends at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover on Wednesday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
