Patricia Figuly

Patricia Ann Figuly, 89, of Dover, passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2026.

Born on July 24, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Mical) Sadowski. Patricia graduated from Maria high school and later graduated from Ursuline College in 1959. She worked for many years as a dietitian with the Tuscarawas County Health Department specializing in the WIC program before her retirement in 1999.

On February 11, 1961, Patricia married Richard J. Figuly, who preceded her in death on March 25, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Douglas Figuly, and her brother and sister-in-law, Tom (Dolores) Sadowski.

Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover, where she loved to sing and was a member of the St. Josephs contemporary choir. Patricia also participated in the LCBA, the Regina Study Club and Soup Kitchen, and was a member of the College Club of Tuscarawas County. She cherished her family and the time spent with those she loved, leaving behind many treasured memories.

She is survived by her children, Laura Figuly of Dover; Rick (Vicky) Figuly of Hilton Head, South Carolina; Sandra Figuly of Dover; and Randy Figuly of Virginia.

Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in Dover. A meal will follow at the St. Joseph Family Life Center. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 613 N Tuscarawas Avenue, Dover, Ohio 44622.
