Patricia J. Feutz

Jun 12, 1942 — Oct 31, 2026

Dover, Ohio

Patricia J. “Patty” Feutz, age 84, of Parral, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, October 31, 2026, in her home, with her children by her side.

Patty was born on June 12, 1942, in Parral, to the late Eileen (Fox) and Otto Abrecht. She graduated from Dover High School in 1960, and went on to marry the late Robert “Bob” Feutz on April 21, 1963. The two shared nearly 61 years of marriage before his passing on March 23, 2024. Her children find comfort in knowing that their parents have been reunited in Heaven.

Patty will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, faithful church member, and caring friend whose life was centered around family, faith, and helping others.

A hands-on mother and dedicated homemaker, Patty devoted herself to creating a loving home and always being there for her family. She especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, often welcoming them for visits that lasted a week at a time. Those special moments together created memories that her family will cherish forever.

Patty and her husband, Bob, shared a love of adventure and travel. As members of a Chevy car club, they enjoyed participating in biannual tours across the United States, making memories and friendships along the way. At home, Patty found joy in the companionship of her beloved dog, Mandy, who held a special place in her heart, and tending the flowers around her home.

Patty also believed in giving back to her community. She volunteered at her children's school and later shared her caring spirit by delivering Meals on Wheels alongside Bob, bringing not only meals but also kindness and companionship to those they served. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was an active and devoted member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover, where she shared in the fellowship and community of her church family.

Patty will be deeply missed by her children, Todd Feutz of Parral, Bobbi Jo (John) Hrusovsky of Galena, and Jeff Feutz of Magnolia; her grandchildren, Nate, Jarad and Jacob Hrusovsky, and Trevor and Alicia Feutz; her nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce (Carol) Abrecht and Jeff Abrecht.

In honoring Patty’s love of dogs throughout her life, the family suggests that donations be made to the Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.

Per Patty’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Dover. Arrangements are pending, and this page will be updated when services have been finalized. To leave an online condolence, please visit the funeral home’s website.
