Nathan Michael Beachy, age 15, of Dover, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Born on August 29, 2011, in Dover, Nathan was the beloved son of Michael and Megan (Hogan) Beachy.
Nathan was a freshman at Dover High School, where he excelled academically. A bright and dedicated student, he took honors classes and consistently earned a place on the honor roll.
Extremely athletic, Nathan grew up playing soccer and rugby and was also a talented wrestler. His leadership and commitment to his teammates earned him the honor of serving as captain of both his soccer and wrestling teams. He loved being active and spending time outdoors. An avid fisherman, Nathan especially enjoyed the peaceful moments he spent fishing and riding ATVs with his dad, brother, and uncle Jason.
Nathan had a creative side and loved arts and crafts and making things. He had a deep admiration for the military, enjoyed airsofting and, from a young age, dreamed of becoming a K-9 police officer. Most of all, Nathan treasured the time he spent at the park with his countless friends. His intelligence, athletic ability, creativity, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Nathan is survived by his brother, Noah Beachy of Dover; his grandparents, Danny and Pamela Hogan of Dover and Ruth Beachy (Bill Harper) of Dundee; his uncles, Jason Hogan of New Philadelphia and Rob Beachy (Allison Snyder) of New Philadelphia; his aunt, Sharon Mizer of Dover; his cousins, Cody and Charlie Snyder and Tami Turley (Scott Stoker); and his many close and cherished friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie Beachy, Chester and Mary Mizer, John and Mary DeLion, and Nancy Mercer.
