Nancy J. Renner of Dover went to be with the Lord on her 76th birthday with the love of her family. She was born on April 1, 1946 and was a daughter of the late John “Red” Jr. and Dorothy Plotts Edwards. Nancy was all about her family, they were the center of her world.
A loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister, Nancy is survived by her children, Kevin (Jennifer) Renner, Christopher Renner, Shannon (Kenny) Miller all of Dover; siblings, Carole Cummings of Grove City, Richard (Sandy) Edwards, Susan Hunt, Mike (Mary) Edwards all of Dover; grandchildren, Zach (Loretta) Renner, Alexis (Joshua) Burnham, Katelynn (Jordon Miller) Renner, Courtney (Tucker) Boreman, Blaze Renner, Ashlin Renner, Austin-Michael (Payton Foster) Renner, Tytan (Mikayla Horn) Renner; great grandchildren, Rylan Renner, Layne and Leo Renner, Chase Miller; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She had been employed at the family business, Edwards Sales and Service in Strasburg for many years. Nancy was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church in Dover, Eastern Star and Ladies of the Elks. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends, as well as, putting together puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by her brother in law, Gary Hunt; and niece, Jennifer Hunt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6th starting at 11: 00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. David St. Aubin officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. The family will be greeting friends on Tuesday from 5-7 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
