Marilyn M. Colaner, 79, of the Hennis Care Centre in Dover and formerly of New Philadelphia died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 following a brief illness.
Born May 22, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Laura (Harbold) Moreland. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Moreland and two brothers, Richard and Donald Moreland.
Marilyn was a nurses aide at the former Colonial Manor in New Philadelphia where she worked for 21 years. She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Philadelphia. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her family that includes her two daughters, Tammi (David) Whitlow of Panama City, Florida and Kristi (Bill) Sundstrom of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one brother, Paul (Eunice) Moreland of California; two sisters in law, Sharon Moreland and Roberta Moreland.
