Marie M. Brady

Marie M. Brady, 80, of Strasburg, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, in The Arbors of Canton, following a long illness.

Born Jun. 6, 1923, in Strasburg, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Robinson Mann. Marie was a graduate of Strasburg High School, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Philadelphia, and the former Super Sixties group of the church.

Survivors include her husband, William Brady, whom she wed Jun. 2, 1941; two daughters, Cathie (Jim) Adams of Beach City, and Ginger (Joe) Steed of Newcomerstown; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jesse (Jayne) Mann of Bolivar, and Kenneth Mann of Massillon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Brady; and by a sister, Audrey Spraggs.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at 1:30 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, 246 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, with Pastor Mark Trotter officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, 6-9 p.m., in the funeral home.
