Margaret J. Reynolds

Margaret J. Reynolds, 94, of Canton, and formerly of Strasburg, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born on August 8, 1926 in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Duerr Aul. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband, Vercelius “Buster” Reynolds on June 6, 1997; son, Robert Allen Reynolds; and a brother, Charles Aul.

Margaret owned and operated the Square Beauty Shop in Strasburg for 17 years. Following her retirement from the shop, she worked in the cafeteria at Strasburg Schools for many years. She was a long-time member of St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg, Seasoned Seniors and the Strasburg AARP.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Steve (Connie) Reynolds of Canton, Jim (Holly) Reynolds of Tennessee; grandchildren, Stefanie, Zachary, Nicole and Destin Reynolds.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 17th starting at 11:00 am in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Rev. Jason Rissler officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg is handling arrangements.
