Lynn was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church, the Charles Hofer Post of the Strasburg American Legion, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and, when his daughters were in school, served as secretary-treasurer of the Strasburg Athletic Boosters.

Lynn was very family-oriented throughout his life. He always enjoyed family get-togethers and following his children’s and his grandchildren’s school and sporting events. Lynn liked visiting with his former classmates from Strasburg as well. Aside from work and family, some of Lynn’s favorite pastimes were playing golf, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and watching old movies.

In addition to his wife, Phoebe, he will be dearly missed by his daughters, Nicole (Harold) Arrowsmith of Sarasota, Florida, and Rachel (Craig) Howell of Fresno; his grandchildren, Steven, Nicholas, and Elizabeth Arrowsmith; his brothers and sister, Randy (Carolyn) and Martin Zehnder, and Tanya Jo Gritzan; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Gordon and Candace Marks; and his nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Zehnder; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Theodore and Betty Goedel; and his brother-in-law, Ron Gritzan.
