Lyn E. Gribble

Lyn E. Gribble, age 73, a life-long resident of Dover, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital following a brief illness.

Born September 25, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Norma Kline Maybaugh. Lyn graduated from Dover High School in 1966, and shortly thereafter was employed by Eiler’s Candy Store where she worked for over 50 years before retiring. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who also enjoyed flower gardening and working crossword puzzles.

Lyn will be dearly missed by her sons, Brian (Heather), Brent (Jamie Kinsey) and Jason Gribble; her grandchildren, Brianna, Skyler, Alex, Autumn, Dylan and Olivia; her great-granddaughter, Brielle; and her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Maybaugh.

Honoring Lyn’s wishes, she will be cremated and a private committal service will be held in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia.
