Loren also belonged to the Men’s Bible Study of Dover First United Methodist Church and the Tuscarawas County Men’s Group. He spent years volunteering with Wheels of Hope, a ministry that repairs and reconditions wheelchairs and other mobility equipment for people in developing countries.
