Lois A. Rennicker Alsept

Lois A. Rennicker Alsept, 91, of Strasburg passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Born in New Cumberland on October 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ora A. and Vesta (Shaffer) Davy.

On April 3, 2005, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wensel L. Rennicker. On November 19, 2020, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Mitchel Alsept. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Jean Strawn and Mary Lou Houze.

Lois was a tile inspector at US Ceramic Tile in East Sparta where she worked for over 55 years and retired in 2002. She was a member of the US Ceramic Tile Retirees. She also was the owner and operator of Lois Beauty Salon.

She was a member of New Cumberland United Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed taking long walks, bird watching and was an avid cat lover. She also was a talented decorator.

She leaves behind her nieces, Sharon (Larry) Work, Monna (John) Garver; nephew, Larry Houze; her caregivers; Todd and Nancy Taylor; along with great-nieces and nephews and many close friends.
