Linda Jean Stoyanovich

Linda Jean Stoyanovich, 76, of Uhrichsville, passed away on January 26, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton. 

Born September 29, 1947, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Maude Stucky.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Miller, and Verna (Al) Ball.  

Linda was a hard worker throughout her life. She worked at Perma Glass, where she met the love of her life, Jim Stoyanovich. Linda dedicated herself to various jobs and worked at Stallards IGA, Express Packaging, and Shoup's Cleaning. Her strong work ethic and determination were truly remarkable. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover.  

Family meant the world to Linda, and she cherished spending time with her loved ones. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and found joy in their presence. Linda was an exceptional cook and took pride in looking after her home. Her culinary skills were unmatched, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who tasted her delicious meals. Additionally, Linda adored playing word searches in her spare time.

On May 6, 1973, she married James "Jim" Stoyanovich, who survives.  She also leaves behind her children; Curt (Shelley) Stoyanovich of Uhrichsville, and Melissa (Gary) Rowan of Chardon; her beloved grandchildren, Chelsea (Nick) Combs, Dawn (Mike) McCoun, Luke Rowan, Marcus Rowan, and Grace Rowan; along with her great-grandchildren, Nehemiah Combs, Maverick McCoun; and her brother-in-law, Paul Miller.  

Friends and family describe Linda as a kind-hearted soul who always put others first. Her warm smile and compassionate nature touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her radiant personality will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dotty Hartzell officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park.  A meal will be served at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.  To sign an online guestbook for Linda, visit the obituary link on the funeral home's website.
