Linda S. Schilling

Linda S. Schilling, 79, of Dover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.

Born on June 10, 1947, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Yoder) Valentine. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Todd Schilling.

A devoted homemaker, Linda centered her life around her family. She took great joy in caring for her loved ones and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. In her quieter moments, she found happiness in her crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 60 wonderful years, William T. Schilling, whom she married on September 3, 1966; children, Christa Ickes of Dover and Brett (Elizabeth) Schilling of Green; her grandchildren, Kinzey and Alexa; her brother, Robert (Janice) Valentine of Idaho; and her sister, Joyce Stolicny of Jackson Township.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
