Linda Sharon Miller

May 20, 1951 — Aug 19, 2026

Linda Sharon Miller, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Country Club Retirement Center.

Born on May 20, 1951, Linda was a graduate of Hiland High School. She later pursued a 40-year career as a beautician, a profession that perfectly suited her outgoing personality and creativity. She worked at various salons where she formed countless friendships throughout the years. She eventually retired from Running with Scissors.

Linda will be remembered for her beautiful smile, quick wit, and gentle spirit. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, and quite simply, if you knew Linda, you loved her.

Creative and artistic, Linda especially enjoyed giving new life to old things and had a talent for repurposing furniture, faux finishing, and interior painting. She also loved gardening, fishing, and bowling. Athletic throughout her life, she enjoyed staying active and had a natural ability for many of the things she pursued.

In 1995, Linda met Mark Miller, and the two began a life together filled with love and companionship. They were married on July 15, 2006, and he survives. Linda and Mark shared a love for being social and especially enjoyed the friendships, laughter, and camaraderie they found while participating in bowling leagues together.

Linda will also be deeply missed by her daughter, Stacey (Dale) Wengerd-Reese of Austinburg, Ohio. Linda cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Brock, Alex, and Zack, who lovingly knew her as "Grammie," and they brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She is also survived by her nieces, Margaret Shively, Frieda Lehman, and Heather Hershberger; many other nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Bonnie Young.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Norma Hershberger, Dale Hershberger, Jean Hershberger, and Paul Hershberger.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, creativity, and a smile that will not soon be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

In honoring Linda's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. To sign an online guestbook, visit the obituary link on the funeral home's website.
