Linda Easlick, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 1, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on May 21, 1957, in Dennison, to the late Hazel Bell and Dale Lawrence. She was raised near Bowerston, and later spent over 50 years living in the Jewett-Scio area. Linda dedicated a significant portion of her life to working as a nurse. She also loved to create and was a talented quilter, painter, gardener, and cook; she spent much of her time making things for others. Linda was a one-of-a-kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family will always love her and will miss her dearly until they are reunited once again.

Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Barry Easlick; her sons, William (Aurora) and Christopher (Tanya) Easlick; her daughter-in-law, Tina Cooper; her sisters, Victoria Wood and Leigh Chilton; her grandchildren, Taylor, Jenna, Connor, and Caleb Easlick, Elissa, Taylor, Cassandra, and Zachary Thompson; and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Derrick Easlick, and her sisters, Dianna Lawrence and Gayle Yosick.

A celebration of Linda’s life is being planned and will take place in Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 4195 Pleasant Valley Rd. S.E., Dennison.
