Laura was a member of New Philadelphia’s Jerusalem Church where she helped in the kitchen for church dinners, and she was a 4-H advisor when her children were young. She enjoyed family vacations - which included camping trips, baking with her grandchildren, and playing with her beloved dog, Annie.
Laura will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years, Keith; her children, Brenda K. (William) Wilson of Dover, and Brent A. (Mary) Kretzinger of Stone Creek; her grandchildren, Cory (Bobbi) and Billy Wilson and Kody (Madison Magallanez) Kretzinger; her great-grandchildren, Kyra, Madison, Chase, Hayden and Hunter; her siblings, John May, Thelma (Wayne) Amistadi and Lloyd (Becky) May Jr.; her sister-in-law, Joan Newell; her brother-in-law, David (Nancy) Kretzinger; and her nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin and Ralph May, Pearl Amistadi and Clara Kilchenman.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Monday, February 7, 5 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 8, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home; Pastor Tom Hendershot will officiate. Burial will be later, following cremation, in Jerusalem Church Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations in Laura’s memory be made to Jerusalem Church.
