Katherine E. Bair

Katherine E. Bair, 86, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, January 10, 2003 in her home.

Born November 1, 1916 at New Phila., she was daughter of the late Elmer & Oresco Rainsberg Glass.

Katherine had attended worship services at the Salvation Army at Dover. Each spring she looked forward to tending to her garden. She also loved animals and had a special place in her heart for her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence L. Bair.

Survivors include: a son; Gene (Charlene) Baker of Zoarville, daughter Betty (John) Smith of North Canton, step-children Richard and Betty, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sisters; Hilda Kiser and Dorothy Hatfield, and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, at 2:00pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5pm.
