Karen M. Kuhn

Karen M. Kuhn, 65, of Dover, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital.

Born October 14, 1959, in Akron, she was a daughter of the late John "Jack" and Denise “Shorty” Dorraugh Fitzgerald and was preceded in death by her infant brother, Thomas Fitzgerald.

A 1977 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic, Karen worked at Buehlers in Dover and managed the Hallmark Store. Known for her vibrant spirit, she was the life of the party, always surrounded by friends. She enjoyed dancing, and following local bands. Karen loved boating at Atwood Lake and cherished time with her large family.

She is survived by her children, Alexis Bryant and Joe Kuhn of Dover; grandchildren, Lyllian and Erixson Bryant and Cole Kuhn; siblings, James (Christine) Fitzgerald of Cadiz, Michael “Fuj” (Ursula) Fitzgerald, Patricia (Ed) Green, John “Beav” (Rebekah) Fitzgerald III, Kevin (Julie) Fitzgerald, and Erin Fitzgerald, all of Dover, Daniel (Melanie) Fitzgerald of New Philadelphia, and Kelli (EJ) Johnson of Tennessee; former husband, David Kuhn of New Philadelphia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 am at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover, with Fr. Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Christian Wake services starting at 7:00 pm.
