Joseph T. “Joe” Dalcoma, 86, of Mineral City, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton.

He was born on April 23, 1940, in Uhrichsville, the son of the late Frank and Mildred Davis Dalcoma. Joe was also preceded in death by his sister, Anna Mae Granato, and three half-sisters.

A 1958 graduate of Uhrichsville High School, Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. He worked as a salesman for Roundy’s Food in Lima and retired in 2002 after 32 years of dedicated service. Joe attended Schoenbrunn Moravian Church and was a member of the Atwood Lake Yacht Club, Dennison Eagles, and Uhrichsville Moose. He was especially proud of his membership in the New Philadelphia VFW, where he served on the funeral detail.

Joe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha Weston Dalcoma, whom he married on February 21, 1975; his children, Kyle (Denise) Dalcoma of New Philadelphia, Shellarean Glaserman (companion, Matt) of East Canton, and Joell Hatfield of Florida; his sister, Shirley Hill of Tuscarawas; his grandchildren, Nathan Hughey, Sierra Pickens, Dustin Hatfield, and Jessica Glaserman; his great-grandchildren, Aubree, Ellie, and Alessa; and his beloved dog, Buffy.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover. Private interment of the ashes will take place in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
