Jeffery Wayne Stein

Jeffery W. Stein, age 65, of New Philadelphia, passed away on July 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was born September 6th 1960, to Father David Stein and Mother Dorathy Stein. After graduating from New Philadelphia High School, he met his lovely wife, married on May 28th 1982, and had his beloved son, Joshua Stein. For many years, he managed the Certified Gas Station, then he and his family moved to Colorado to fulfill his passion for carpentry. He enjoyed hobbies such as hiking, 4-wheeling with the Jeep Club, spending time in the mountains, building birdhouses, remodeling his home, motorcycles, baseball, and most of all spending time with his family and loving Jesus. He and his family eventually came home to Ohio.

Jeff is survived by his Wife Cindy Stein, his Son Josh Stein, beloved Dog Fenny, his Mother Dorathy Stein, his Siblings; Virginia (Ginny) Gump, Joe Stein (Brenda), Dorene Boyed (Tommy), Denese Kerch, Adrian (Dean) Stein, Mother in Law Shirley Winkler, Sister in Laws; Barb Hunter, Vicki Ysam, and former Brother in Law Rick Stilgenbauer. Aunts and Uncles, numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many many Friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by Father David Stein, Uncle Bootzy, Father in Law Clifford Winker, Brother-in-Law Chris Kerch, and beloved Dog Jibby.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jeff was an easy going man, who loved with his whole heart, had a great sense of humor, he will be missed dearly forever.
