James F. Ice, 84, born on December 12, 1941, in West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Truman Hospice House following a short period of declining health. He will be missed by his wife, Diane, and his sons, Brian (Rachel) Ice, and David Ice; and his grandchildren, Briana, Josh, and Abigail. James was an avid deer hunter, and especially enjoyed searching for ginseng with his friend Dave.
Per James’ wishes, his care has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Dover and there will be no public services. To share an online condolence, please visit the guestbook for James on the funeral home’s website.
