Harold C. Burrier

Harold C. Burrier, 74, of Dover died Monday, May 1, 2000 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

Born February 8, 1926 in Newcomerstown he was a son of the late William and Jennie Opphile Burrier.

He was a member of Dover Alliance Church, Dover VFW and was a Army Veteran of WW II. He enjoyed camping, fishing, baseball and writing.

Harold is survived by a brother: Archie (Sylvia) Burrier of Newcomerstown

1/2 brother: Bobby Nugent of Port Washington

Two nephews: Michael Burrier of Dover
Woodrow E. Burrier of Tuscarawas

Niece: Dawn Bowersock of Dover

Many great nieces, nephews and cousins

He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Woodrow W. and Homer Burrier.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2000 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Richard G. Rose officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of the ashes on Friday at 1:00 pm at the Ridgecrest Memory Garden, where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
