Fannie R. Hershberger, 82, of Dover passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Hennis Care Center in Dover.
Born in Wayne County on February 11, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Roman and Anna (Yoder) Troyer. She married Emanuel D. “Biff” Hershberger on August 24, 1960. Biff preceded her in death on January 9, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Joe Miller.
Fannie worked at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover for many years. She was a longtime member of the Dover Baptist Temple. She loved working outdoors and enjoyed country music.
She will be greatly missed by her sons; Douglas Hershberger of Dover and Daryl (Sherri) Hershberger of Sugarcreek; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Cinereski of Alabama and Glenda (Craig) Bambeck of Dover; two brothers; Abe (Verba) Troyer of Mayesville, Sonny (Alma) Troyer of Kidron; her sister, Verna (Eli) Yoder of Millersburg; 12 grandchildren, Jared (Tracy), Rebekah (Josh) Timothy, Andrew (Kasey) Cinereski, Elizabeth (Joel) Bishop, Syrena (Aaron) Troyer, Roman (Lindsey) Hershberger, Chandler and Emanuel Hershberger, Megan and Justin (fiancé, Leah) Hershberger, and Corey (fiancé, Taylor) and Dylan Bambeck; 13 great-grandchildren; along with her close friend, Eugene.
Fannie’s family would like to thank the staff at Hennis Care Center, especially Holly, for taking such good care of her. Holly treated her as if she were family.
