Eugene A. Kaser, 68, of Dover passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Canton on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Born in Dover on May 26, 1953, he was the son of the late Willis “Bill” and Iva (Weigand) Kaser. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ron Kaser.
Eugene was a graduate of Dover High School with the class of 1971.
He was a talented drummer and loved music. He collected vinyl records, antiques, and loved original classic cars. He also enjoyed vacationing with Lou Ann and playing practical jokes on his family and friends. In his younger years, he played racquetball with his friends and especially his brother, Greg.
He leaves behind his companion, Lou Ann Johnson; his daughter, Miranda Kaser; son, Josh (Cortney) Kaser of Cleveland; his three grandsons, Logan Brown of Dover, Vaughn and Isaac Kaser of Cleveland; two brothers, William (Martha) Kaser of Strasburg, and Greg Kaser of New Philadelphia; along with many very close friends.
A celebration of Eugene’s life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1:00pm with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Burial will take place at Dover Burial Park.
