Elsie I. Ackerman

Elsie I. Ackerman, 79, of Dover died early Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Park Village Health Care Centre in New Philadelphia.

Born in Canton on February 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Freda (Dale) Price. She graduated from Canton McKinley High School. On May 3, 1960, she married Donald A. Ackerman, who preceded her in death on February 27 of this year. She was also preceded in death by her sister: Lois Finley; two brothers, Robert F. Price, and Carl Price.

She was a manager for many years at Fashion Bug, Nobil Shoes, and Jean Frock’s. She enjoyed adult coloring books and traveling. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter; Rebecca Duvall (companion, Cecil McDonald) of Uhrichsville; close friends, Scott (Teri) Hill of Dover and John (Toni) Campbell of Gnadenhutten; along with several nieces and nephews.
