Edwyna "Winnie" Rausch

Edwyna “Winnie” Rausch, 77, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

She was born on March 22, 1948, in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glen Rowland and Betty (Watson) Bailey.

On August 10, 1975, Winnie married Richard H. Rausch II, who preceded her in death on November 8, 2017. Together they shared many years of marriage and family life. Our hearts are comforted knowing Richard and Winnie are side by side again in heaven, and Winnie is enjoying listening to his whistling again.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and spirit remain in our hearts.

She took great pleasure in gardening, delighting in hummingbirds and time with family, especially “Her Renlee June.” She also enjoyed her lunch dates with the “Chicks of '66.”

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Richard; her two grandsons, Joey Neff and Crue Morrison.

She leaves behind her daughters: Traci Rausch of New Philadelphia, Jessi (Troy) Shumaker of New Philadelphia, and Darcy Neff of Uhrichsville; her grandchildren, Caspen Rausch, Rylie (Mason) Morrison, Jade Shumaker, and Misty Neff; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Karen (Bob) Uda of Wisconsin; her brother, Rick Rowland of Washington DC; along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am with Pastor Bruce Sexton officiating. Burial will follow next to Richard at Dover Burial Park.
